MA Magazine Journalism
With PPA-accreditation
September 2023 - September 2024
The MA Magazine Journalism course at Cardiff University is a year-long course accredited by the Professional Publisher's Association. The course provided rigorous training in all areas of journalism.
I gained experience producing print, online and social media content, as well as working with audio production and broadcasting. I also expanded my digital skills and became familiar with the Adobe programmes including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Audition and Premier Rush.

Over the course of the year I passed exams in Media Law and Ethics and Public Administration, giving me a solid foundation for understanding the journalistic world. I also worked on group projects where I developed essential editorial skills such as sub-editing, audience research and commissioning.

BA Journalism, Media and Sociology
September 2020 - June 2023
This joint honours programme between the school of social sciences and school of journalism, media and culture was incredibly rewarding as it gave me the opportunity to reflect on the similarities and differences in the subjects. I was able to work to make sense of the social and cultural contexts surrounding debates in the media. It allowed me to gain an understanding of why what journalists are reporting is relevant in today's society.
