Women's Health UK: Editorial Intern

I had the opportunity to spend two weeks as an intern with the editorial team at Women's Health UK at the Hearst offices in London. I gained valuable insight into the editorial process and got to work on print issues and online content.

During my time as part of the team, I carried out daily news sweeps to find the latest news in women's health and share it with their online audience, which also drove traffic from social media. I worked with brands to write news stories from press releases and interviewed medical professionals to get the best knowledge to share with readers. I sub-edited and uploaded articles using their CMS. I also worked on the June 2024 print issue by carrying out research for their cover star interview.
